The current exhibit, Art From the Heart runs February 6 – March 26, 2016,
will be hosting a Second Evening Receptions this Saturday, March 5, form 7-10 pm
Love is in the air, spring is blossoming and hearts are brimming. Hearts and flowers, flames of passion, romance and
eroticism, beloved places, gifts of love… All is fair in Love and Art. All mediums.

WomanKraft’s newest exhibit, ‘Art From the Heart’ will be having a special evening reception just for you this Saturday the 5th, from 7 – 10 PM!

Here’s a few shots from the show, after a huge turnout at our First Reception. Reception nights are SO much fun because you can meet and mingle with the local artists featured, and get out in the beautiful weather we’re having. On the reception, one visitor said “You could feel the love, and it wasn’t just the art!.” Stop by the gallery weekly anytime Wednesday – Saturday between 1 and 5 PM to see the entire show, and believe us, it’s not to be missed!

Join us for an Opening Reception Saturday, February 6th from 7:00 -10:00 P.M. at WomanKraft – 388 S. Stone Avenue. That’s 4 blocks south of Broadway, the west side of the street with huge heirloom Tamarisk tree’s lining our property. WomanKraft looks like this (view from Stone Avenue)!!

You are invited to WomanKraft this weekend, to welcome the fall exhibit, Recycling with Purpose. This show highlights the versatility of re-purposing, up cycling, and re-furbishing in a variety of both functional and fine art. The work on display by local artists is creative and green!

Have you been to WomanKraft recently?? Join in celebrating our 23rd Annual Drawing Down the Muse Exhibit! This is our only exclusive Women’s only exhibit, by and for local women artists. Come and join us in this celebration of our divine feminine power. All mediums and subject matter displayed, over 30 artists featured.

The Gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
With an evening reception the first Saturday of the month, April 4 and May 2nd 7:00 – 10:00 P.M.

‘ILLUMINATION’ Opening Reception

WomanKraft Art Center is proud to announce the opening reception for our fall show, ‘ILLUMINATION’.

Let yourself be illuminated! Join us at WomanKraft, 388 S. StoneSaturday, September 7, from 7-10 p.m. for our first reception of the fall! This show features many forms of illumination; stained glass votives and light boxes, lamps, candles, candle holders, and so much more!

Come enjoy drinks, organic and vegetarian snacks and desserts, and a chance to mingle with many of the artists featured in the show. This exhibit continues through October 26, with a second reception on Saturday, October 5, from 7-10 p.m.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 1-5 p.m.

Refurbished Gallery Chairs- Mullberry-licious

Another beautiful brain child of the stunning and talented Gayle Swanbeck! We took our well worn and beloved School of the Arts  craft chairs and gave them a refreshing Mulberry paper  and collage background. Coated in gloss varnish gel medium, these chairs can be seen adorning the lovely Castle with hopes of more on the way. What we’re up to now? Matching crocheted chair socks!!!!
