Join us for an opening reception this Saturday, September 5th from 7-10 P.M. at 388 S. Stone Avenue. Just four blocks South of Broadway.

You are invited to WomanKraft this weekend, to welcome the fall exhibit, Recycling with Purpose. This show highlights the versatility of re-purposing, up cycling, and re-furbishing in a variety of both functional and fine art. The work on display by local artists is creative and green!

Receptions: Saturday, June 6 and Saturday, July 11 7:00-10:00 P.M.
Regular Gallery Hours: Wednesday Through Saturday 1:00-5:00 P.M.
WomanKraft Art Center, 388 s. Stone Avenue, invites you to the exhibit, SPINES N’ THINGS!
This show will focus on the ‘point’ of the desert. Yes, cactus spines. This is a chance to showcase the prickly beauty that goes hand-in-hand with this amazing place. All mediums accepted. Everyone is encouraged to see this exhibit, it’s free!
The next evening reception will be held, July 11th
from 7:00-10:00 PM.

Please Note:
This is the only exception to our Receptions always being the First Saturday of the Month. However, the first Saturday of July is the Fourth of July so enjoy some fireworks and come see us the following Saturday, July 11!!

Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00-5:00 P.M.

Where: 388 south Stone Avenue – just 4 blocks south of Broadway

When: Friday and Saturday, August 14 and 15, 8 A.M.–4 P.M.

Art supplies, kitchen stuff, knick-knacks, books, clothes, tools, toys, movies, all you can think of and more! We are also seeking volunteers for set up Wednesday, August 12 from 1-5 PM and Thursday, August 13, 10 AM until it’s done.

The fair will run Friday and Saturday, August 14 and 15 from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.

NO EARLY BIRDS. After setting up and selling for 4 days, we really could use some fresh help boxing and loading everything, we start at 4:01 Saturday afternoon. Call or talk with us in person to schedule your participation. (520) 629-9976. Thanks!

Happy May everyone! Can you believe it’s May this weekend? We are so lucky here in Tucson with such gorgeous sunshine and spring weather!
And what does a new month mean? First Saturday Night, Art Walk Night at downtown Tucson art galleries!

Join WomanKraft in celebrating this special occasion this Saturday, May 2nd from 7:00 – 10:0 P.M. for an evening of divine art celebrating our feminine power, with the current exhibit, Drawing Down the Muse.

Drawing Down the Muse runs through May 30th at the WomanKraft Art Center located at 388 S. Stone Avenue, just 4 blocks south of Broadway. The gallery is open weekly Wednesday – Saturday, 1:00 -5:00 P.M. with 2 evening Receptions the first Saturday of the Month. (April 4 and May 2) 7 – 10 PM.

We are proud to announce that this is our 23rd annual Women’s only exhibit. This particular show is a spectacular combination of over 30 local artists showcasing a variety of media. By and for local women artists. Viva la mujer!! Support your local artists and non-profit arts organizations, you fantastic cultural creative, you.

Sometimes, when you want something done right, you’ve just got to Do It Yourself. Join us at the Flycatcher on Wednesday, April 8, as the crafty women of FST! tell their stories of making, building, doing, hacking, crafting, and home-improving. FST!ers are doing it for themselves!
Doors open at 6:30PM, show starts at 7. Suggested donation is $7; cash only, please! ASL interpreters will be provided. Venue is 21+.
As always, FST! will donate a portion of proceeds to a local nonprofit. This month, our beneficiary is WomanKraft Art Center, a Non-Profit Arts Organization founded in 1974 to claim, validate, and empower women artists and other under represented groups
